LFCC Women’s Ministry GoalsThe Women’s Ministry of LFCC supports the goals of the church:
1. To reflect the Glory of God
2. To reveal the Truth of Christ
3. To be renewed by the Power of the Holy Spirit
We aim to achieve these goals by encouraging and fostering intimate, personal relationships among the women of LFCC through prayer, worship, Bible study, and service to each other, our church and our community.

Events Description
Tea Social February 26, 2012 in the Frank S. Greene Room
Join the Women of LFCC for afternoon tea with scones and crumpets! This is a great opportunity to learn about the Women's Ministry and find out how you can participate, and also become acquainted with other women in the church. Bring your own mugs or teacups! Contributions of baked goods or teas are welcome.

First come, first serve! The first 20 women signed up for this 6 month commitment will meet every month to study and pray from the book Generous Justice by Tim Keller. The current discipleship group is full but you can contact Lisa Fong at lisa.fong @ gmail.com if you are interested in participating in future studies.
Monthly Prayer Meeting Every 2nd Saturday of the Month (unless otherwise noted), 8:00-9:30am
Please join us to pray for one another, the city, and the world in our
monthly prayer meeting. A light breakfast will be served or bring your
own goodies to share. Location varies. Please email Mary Lee at mkn4680 @ gmail.com for address, directions or if you are interested in a car pool.
Living Faith parents meet every other week on Thursday mornings, from 9:30 am - 11:30 am, in Queens area homes to share, discuss topics of faith, and pray for one another. A sitter is available to watch the children while parents meet in an adjacent room. Parents with children of all ages are welcome. Email Jamie.wl.ong@gmail.com to participate in this valuable community!
Parents Play Group, Thursdays, 10:00am-12:00pm
The study group alternates with playgroup meetings, held every other week on Thursday mornings, from 10:00am – 12:00 pm. Parents and their children meet in Queens area playgrounds for fellowship and recreation. The play group relocates to local homes in cold or rainy weather. Email Jamie.wl.ong@gmail.com for more information.

We are planning a one day women’s conference in May 2012. If you are interested in helping to plan the event, please email Sarah at sarahcny@gmail.com.
